Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins has been a wonderful motivational speaker and I have learned a lot from his seminars. Most people including myself actually have been procrastinating a lot wasting time watching that favorite TV series or just going out with friends getting drunk or even having a Gaming addiction gosh tell me about it. I have been addicted to gaming but I’m coming out of it. These all activities are mere distractions. A distraction that makes you happy even though you don’t have what you really want in your life.

1 month later here I’m revising this website writing an article at 12:00 AM but I intend to continue writing more articles in which I will share my experience on how I changed my mindset and hopefully no more procrastination… Anyways I was watching this one seminar that reminded me that I was the one responsible for not working on this website and my other side business I just had stupid excuses. A few years back I had no income then I got a job then I got a freelance gig then I got even more income kind of in a hybrid situation of a job and freelance now… but I always wanted to start a business and earn passively…

What stopped me? My comfort zone is why I wasn’t feeling it… Got a new laptop and just bought a few games and played them day and night wasting my life away… Comfort Zone is scary really as it is a mere distraction. A trap where you feel happy about achieving something but you get trapped there and stop however if you didn’t stop you would have definitely progressed further…

Again Anyways I watched this seminar by Tony Robbins where He said.

Quote No. 1:

If you want to take the island, then burn your boats. With absolute commitment come the insights that create real victory.

He was talking about these people in the boat actually they were comfortable there but not for long as they were running out of supplies… At a distance, they saw a beautiful island they wanted to go there but it seems their boat has run out of fuel and the wind direction isn’t helping them get closer to the island. But Since they were not dying yet they wasted their time on the boat dreaming of getting to that wonderful island one day but not doing anything about it. Life is like this you can stay where you are get old and die dreaming of paradise but not actually get there… Now that is sad yet it’s also known that people who are in a do-or-die situation tend to go ahead and get things done because they have no choice. That’s why there are many stories out there from rags to riches but hardly any middle-class person ever became rich… why because they are very comfortable in their small world. That’s why burn the boats go do what you gotta do reach that island, reach that paradise.

Quote No. 2:

Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more

This is something hard to understand but Yes Life is a gift think of it as a chance to enjoy your freedom to do anything and explore anything the only constraint is death but that is what makes you do things faster rather than laying around. You should be grateful that you have hands and eyes to read this article or in general to do anything with them and that is where you know that whatever you have achieved be it money or power you can get that back and that’s why you help people in need you look after your friends you never know when one of them actually is there for you in the time of need. Although here Tony Robbins was emphasizing the power of abundance i.e. you don’t need to worry about the money you can make several times more but don’t be selfish. By the way, selfish people have seldom become rich in the first place if they are not doing something to help society or make them better in some way why would people pay them?

Quote No. 3:

Your past does not equal your future

Your past is something that has already happened and cannot be changed. Whatever you have been or have been doing in past doesn’t really matter. What matters is that you are willing to change for the better. The real question is do you want to improve? You can always blame your past maybe you were a convicted felon I mean that’s the worst-case scenario. In fact, I had a friend who was a convicted felon who served 10 years in prison. Robbery armed robbery actually. Not going to name him here but He was underage when he did this no one actually got hurt but still had such a horrible past yet he now has his own online business and making money by helping other people out there. If he can do it then so can you. You can also turn your life around. Bad Circumstances made you do things in the past but don’t let them make the Bad circumstance that you face in the future.

Quote No. 4

The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships.

Your relationships play a key role in your life. Your Relationship with your parents, brother or sisters cousins, or friends has shaped you the way you are right now. As a matter of fact, you are the average of people you keep company with. But trust is the most important and expensive commodity. Eventually, you will find someone that you can fully trust to improve your life and who actually cares about you but finding those people can be a little tricky. However, the first thing is how you interact with people if you’re rude and a bully then other people perceive you as a threat they might say yes but not willingly but if you respect them you get the respect back. Treat people the way you wanted to be treated. Don’t underestimate this as this is easier said than done.

Quote No. 5:

Change is inevitable. Progress is optional.

Change happens with time. You remember the time when you use to read the newspaper. I mean the physical copy in your hands. the time when people used to go advertise in those newspapers to reach out to people. The time when your friends were gone to a different place you lose contact. Now with the advent of the internet, everything is connected you actually video call your friends and watch youtube videos for entertainment, news, learning, and much more. You see with time things have changed nowadays can you imagine a guy who doesn’t know how to use a smartphone and can survive in this world? Really difficult. Likewise, you will also see changes in your life you have to embrace them accept them and move on.
